Vision Plan Summary

I developed this and many related products. The overall Vision Plan communications effort was recognized with a team award for Exceptional Public Outreach by the California Special Districts Association in 2014.

Audience: 750,000 residents of Santa Clara, San Mateo and a small portion of Santa Cruz counties.


Objective: Using quantitative and qualitative data, define the region's vision for open space in text and graphics.

Outcome: A 6% increase in name recognition in five months.

Open Space Storymap

I conceived and oversaw development of this item which was recognized at the 2016 International ESRI Users Conference. This storymap helped residents visualize the future of open space and understand the impact of a bond measure.
